आजकल सोशल मीडिया पर एक वामपंथी विचारों से ओतप्रोत “JNU के सिनेमा विभाग की प्रोफेसर इरा भास्कर” की बेटी जो कि JNU की ही छात्रा रही है “स्वरा भास्कर” जो की भारतीय सिनेमा के कुछ धारावाहिकों और फिल्मों में काम कर चुकी है। स्वरा भास्कर ने कई आंदोलनो में हिस्सा लिया जिनमें प्रमुख CAA और NRC अधिनियम का विरोध और किसान आंदोलन प्रमुख हैं। स्वरा भास्कर ने फेमिनिज़्म के नाम पर नारी सशक्तिकरण के लिए कोई रोजगार, प्रशिक्षण या सेल्फ डिफेंस के लिए आंदोलन नहीं किया बल्कि इन्होंने प्रचार किया कि स्त्री को पुरुष के बराबर समानता चाहिए, इस फेमिनिज़्म में नशे और सेक्स की आजादी चाहिए और स्वरा भास्कर ने इसको अनारकली, तनु वेड्स मनु तथा अन्य फिल्मों में व्यक्त भी किया और उस नग्नता को बेशर्मी से नारी सशक्तिकरण का नाम दे दिया।
स्वरा भास्कर ने अपना फेमिनिज़्म प्रदर्शित करने के बाद अपना सेकुलरिज्म प्रदर्शित करने के लिए 2023 में एक मुस्लिम फहद अहमद से निकाह कर लिया और और मुस्लिम बन गई एक साल सुर्खियों से गायब रहने के बाद अभी एकदम से सोशल मीडिया पर उनकी कुछ फोटो वायरल हो रही हैं जिनमें साफ दिख रहा है की उनका वामपंथी फेमिनिज़्म आत्महत्या करके मर गया। लेकिन यह पक्का है कि वामपंथी लॉबी अब उस मरे हुए फेमिनिज़्म नाम के सांप को पुनः जिंदा करने का प्रयास करेगी।
