धन तेरस का भ्रम
अमात्य परिषद: आपको यह जानकर आश्चर्य होगा कि “धन तेरस” के त्योहार में “धन” का अर्थ पैसे से से नहीं बल्कि आपके “स्वास्थ्य” से हैं । क्योंकि इस दिन धन का अर्थ भगवान धन्वंतरि से होता है । जबकि धन तेरस के दिन हिन्दू समाज की यह धारणा बन गई है कि इस दिन धन बटोरना चाहिए । इस लालच में हिन्दू समाज बर्तन खरीदता है, सोना चांदी खरीदता है । यह जाने बिना कि “धन तेरस” में “धन” किसे कहा गया है ?
धन तेरस में जो धन है वो “धन”, “पैसा या संपत्ति” नहीं बल्कि वह “धन” आपका स्वास्थ्य है इस त्यौहार में “धन” आयुर्वेद के देवता “भगवान धन्वंतरि” हैं।
शास्त्रों के अनुसार कार्तिक मास के कृष्ण पक्ष की त्रियोदशी को भगवान धन्वंतरि समुन्द्र मंथन से अमृत कलश लेकर प्रकट हुए थे।
“इसलिए इस त्यौहार का अर्थ धन व्यय करने से नहीं, बीमारियों पर व्यय होने वाले धन को बचाने से है ।” और इसी कारण भारत सरकार ने भी इस तिथि को “आयुर्वेद दिवस” के रूप में मनाने का निर्णय लिया है ।
भारतीय हिन्दू अर्थ दृष्टि सदैव वैश्विक कल्याण की रही है जबकि अन्यों ने सदैव स्वकल्याण को देखा है । एक ब्रिटिश “God Grace to Britain” कहता है, एक अमेरिकन “God Grace to America” कहता है किन्तु भारत “धर्म की जय हो अधर्म का नाश हो, प्राणियों में सद्भावना हो, विश्व का कल्याण हो” कहता है।
